See Things Differently

York is one of the UK's most popular tourist destinations
and our walking tours provide a unique perspective of this beautiful city.

Each tour is operated by people affected by homelessness and shaped by their own
interests or personal experience of the city whilst homeless.

There are five tours in the pipeline covering topics that relate to York's railway heritage, an exploration of the city's famous snickelways and alleyways, together with the first ever family friendly fun tour designed to educate children about our rich history and diverse local heritage.

The service will formally launch on Monday 3rd June 2019, but in the meantime, you can reserve a group booking or join one of the practise events running throughout April and May.

Our tour guides are still in the process of working with their mentors to script and develop their tours, but as they are all homeless with no previous experience of running a tour then we're keen that they have an opportunity to practise with sympathetic people.

If you'd like to support them, then please email us. All we ask is that you offer constructive honest feedback as part of their learning process.

Alternatively, you can make a group booking by completing the adjacent form.
